Readers will recall an earlier post about the research that DRILL (Disability Research on Independent Living and Learning) are working on, entitled “Legally Disabled”. The research will investigate and map out the negative and positive experiences, choices and views of disabled people working or seeking to work in the legal profession. The success of the project relies on disabled legal professionals having full involvement in the design and delivery of the research. This ensures that the project focuses on the issues that disabled professionals have identified and improves their ability to engage with and co-produce future research studies.
The research has now moved to the interview stage, and we would encourage our legal mentees and mentors to take part. Click here for full details and to find out more.
