Today we are speaking to students with disabilities and long term health conditions at Lancaster Uni. In particular we will be covering: how to do well in an interview; how to discuss your disability at interview; whether to disclose a disability and if so how, and the transferable skills you learn when you live with a difference. We are looking forward to helping them get ready for employment as well as hearing their stories.

City Disabilities gives free talks and advice to students regularly. We were recently at a similar event at Cambridge Uni discussing these issues and answering questions from individual students as to how they might prepare themselves for the workplace.
