The charity Leonard Cheshire runs a programme for students with disabilities to find them a paid three month summer placement, as well as ongoing career mentoring. The programme is called Change100.
Change100 brings together the UK’s top employers and talented students with disabilities and long term health conditions. It also aims to broaden the public’s understanding of what disability is. Several of our mentees have had success with Change100, which has partnered with over 50 employers across the UK to host interns including Barclays, the BBC, Skanska, Lloyds and Taylor Wimpey.
We always encourage our mentees to apply. You can find the link to the applications here. Please note the deadline of 25th January for placements this summer.
