Evidence given to the Work and Pensions Select Committee recently shows that employers taking part in the Disability Confident jobs scheme are performing very poorly. The attached report makes for depressing reading: “with the current rate of progress it would take nearly 1,000 years to meet the government’s target of securing jobs for another one million disabled people in the 10 years to 2027.”
