City Disabilities in collaboration with York University Film Studies graduates: a disability etiquette training film.

15 June 2016

Since City Disabilities was founded, we have been giving thought to how we can reduce misunderstandings between employers and professionals with disabilities, and how we can help both employers and colleagues anticipate problems that might arise.

We have now acquired experience from countless interviews and meetings with mentees, mentors and employers, of what can go wrong with the treatment of staff with disabilities working in the City.

We have also learned a great deal about what most concerns new entrants to the City who have disabilities and listened to their worries about how they might be treated.

As a result, we are working with a team of graduates from York University to produce a short film that can be used for training or self education purposes.
